To help create a Covid safe environment the school uses a Covid Safe Plan.
If a student has Covid-like symptoms, parents are to not bring your child to school.
Class teachers will ask students to use hand sanitiser before a class starts, and again when students come back to class after recess.
From 6pm Friday 4 March, the QLD Government removes the requirement for face masks to be worn at schools. Face masks are still recommended when social distancing can not be kept.
Students who want to wear a face mask at school are supported to do so.
Please check out QLD Education website for up-to-date information on face mask requirement.
Parents are to drop off and pick up their child at the school gates on Hampton Street, Durack.
Parents are not to come into school. For any queries please phone the Center Head or the Principal. Please see the Contacts page.
Staff members will immediately leave the school and should get a test for Covid,
Students will be removed from class and be isolated. The school will contact parent/carer so the students can be collected. The school suggests that the students to get tested for Covid when this happens.
If the test result is negative and the student or staff member is well, they can return to school. If the test is positive, they will need to follow Queensland Health quarantine and isolation requirements.
